The Annual Hormone Health Plan is a partnership between you, a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP), and other health professionals at Westcoast Women’s Clinic, all specially trained in women’s hormonal health. Your overall physical and emotional well-being will be assessed by analyzing your complex health factors, referrals for diagnostic tests, and confidential discussions with your care provider. Your team will offer suggestions for treatment and lifestyle modifications. Your Personal Health Plan is designed for one full year. After the first year, you may choose to renew your plan as needed.

The Annual Hormone Health Plan schedule is as follows:

1. Comprehensive Hormone Health and Wellness Consultation: ($600):

• Review of your medical history, health concerns, risk factors, and lifestyle components.
• Physical exam
• Body composition analysis – measurement of Body Mass Index (BMI), muscle, fat, and total body water
• Hormone Health Management Plan including recommendations for hormone testing, symptom management, lifestyle modification and nutracuetical supplementation
• 1:1 individualized education for improving health, quality of life and disease prevention

2. Annual Hormone Health Plan – Ongoing Follow-up with a Healthcare Team ($1400):

• Regularly scheduled 30-minute appointments with your dedicated healthcare provider (every 3 months)
• Additional shorter appointments to address concerns as per your physicians’ discretion
• Access to medically necessary laboratory services and other private lab testing, designed for a detailed assessment of your health
• After-hours on-call paging services
• Virtual consults (patients must be in the province as per BC College of Physicians guidelines)
• Doctor-to-pharmacy prescription renewals at no charge
• Members Only Exclusive Weekly Hormone Health Seminars conducted by our physicians and health coaches. For preventative health on topics such as diabetes prevention, weight management and nutrition; breast, heart, bone, mental and hormone health. Click here for our monthly calendar!

Optional Add-On

24-hour Comprehensive PLUS Profile Urine Hormone Analysis from Meridian Valley Laboratory ($800): *Some patients will complete this test following the initial consultation. 

• 24-hour urine hormone testing – the gold standard in hormone testing, this is the most comprehensive assessment of your sex hormones, thyroid and adrenal gland function, and liver metabolism of hormones
• Personalized hormone profile summary with detailed hormone management and a lifestyle treatment plan including nutraceutical supplement recommendations.
• Includes appointment time with your care provider (60 mins) and health educator (30 mins) for analysis and recommendations.

This plan caters to patients with higher health needs who are continuing at Westcoast Women’s Clinic after their first year of enrollment in the Annual Health Plan

The Established Hormone Health Plan includes:

Medical Services:

• An annual reassessment and review appointment (45 mins)
  • Review of your medical history, health concerns, risk factors, and lifestyle components.
• Regularly scheduled 30-minute appointments with your dedicated healthcare provider.
• Additional shorter appointments to address concerns as per your providers’ discretion
• Physical exam
• After-hours on-call paging services
• Virtual consults (patients must be in province as per College of Physicians guidelines)

Diagnostic Services:

• Access to medically necessary laboratory services and other private lab testing, designed for a detailed assessment of your health
• Body composition analysis – measurement of Body Mass Index (BMI), muscle, fat, and total body water

Health and Wellness:

• Health coaching support
• Supplement management
• Live seminars and workshops presented by your healthcare team
• Educational resource book

This plan is only for patients continuing at Westcoast Women’s Clinic after 1-2 years of enrollment in the Annual Health Plan, and who now require less frequent visits with the team. Invitation to this plan is under the doctor’s discretion.

The Maintenance Hormone Health Plan includes:

• An annual reassessment and review appointment (45 mins)
  • Review of your medical history, health concerns, risk factors, and lifestyle components.

• Biannual check-in appointment to maintain health goals (30mins)

• Body composition analysis – measurement of Body Mass Index (BMI), skeletal muscle mass, body fat and fluid balance to inform physical activity recommendations
• Live seminars and workshops presented by your healthcare team
• Virtual consults
• Doctor to pharmacy prescription renewals
• After hours on-call paging service

We offer a pay-per-visit option for patients who wish to pay for each service separately.

Please note the following restrictions of using a pay-per-visit model:

• The majority of the main services included in the annual health plans are not available.
• You will not have access to a health coach.
• The visit is designed for health prevention and/or optimization.
• You will only visit with the doctor who can provide guidance in your case.
• If a medically necessary health concern is brought up at this visit, you will be recalled in a timely fashion to have a separate complimentary visit to discuss it. Appropriate labs and/or imaging will be ordered and billed to MSP. We will also offer another complimentary visit to review the findings of the test that was ordered.
• All pay-per-visit appointments can be conducted either in person or via secure video teleconference.

Out of Province Patients

In Canada, medical practice has been restricted to the province or territory in which a physician is licensed. The College of Physicians and the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) have established guidelines that discourage physicians from offering virtual consultations to patients who are outside of their home province. This is to ensure that all care provided meets the necessary legal and professional standards. Our physicians are licensed in British Columbia and Alberta only and can only accept patients from those provinces.
